Here’s Beth Wiles’ interview of me, in which I talk about how I had adrenal exhaustion about the time one of my sons was showing signs of Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD, also known as Sensory Integration Disorder), which is now diagnosed in 1 out of 65 children.
KIDNEY DEFECTS AND NEURODEVELOPMENTAL DELAYS
About 10% of kids born with kidney defects have large genetic links to neurodevelopmental delay and mental illness.
“If a physician sees a child with a kidney malformation, that is a warning sign that the child has a genomic disorder that should be looked at immediately because of the risk of neurodevelopmental delay or mental illness later in life.” Read more…

LIGHT AT NIGHT LINKED TO DEPRESSION AND LEARNING DISABILITIES

ALZHEIMER’S IS TYPE 3 DIABETES
Alzheimer’s is type 3 diabetes. “Alzheimer’s is a process by which excess amyloid plaque builds up in the brain, compromising brain function.
While many theories exist as to why the plaque accumulates, one common theory is that it is due to a lack of a protein called insulin-degrading enzyme.
This protein’s job is to remove excess sugar-carrying insulin and amyloid plaque from the brain.
If this enzyme is too busy removing insulin and excess sugar from the brain due to high blood sugar levels, there may not be enough to also remove excess plaque, thereby significantly increasing the risk of Alzheimer’s.”

FLAME RETARDANTS DECREASE NEUROLOGICAL FUNCTION
Brominated flame retardants are neurotoxic and are linked to neurodevelopmental disorders like autism, ADHD and SPD.
“This study is one of few studies and so far the largest one investigating the neurobehavioral effects of brominated flame retardants in humans.
Consistently with experimental animal data, PBDE (flame retardant) exposure was associated with changes in the motor function and the serum levels of the thyroid hormones.” Read more…
